Agustin Federico Ernesto Bareiro (37) was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is a director, producer, screenwriter, cameraman and video editor. He is also a photographer and painter. In 1995, he graduated as an Advertising Communication Technician, and then proceeded to study Audiovisual Design at the University of Buenos Aires, where he became Assistant Professor of the Introduction to Script chair. He worked as cameraman for various agencies and TV companies. From 2002 to 2004, he was member of the Ojo Obrero documentary group of filmmakers; during those years, he made video documentaries and photographic essays on social issues. He also contributed in the promotion and sale of Ojo Obrero’s audiovisual products. In 2007 and 2008, he was editor at the Audiovisual Production Centre at the Tres de Febrero University. There, he worked on documentaries on gender, culture and tourism for Encuentro, an Argentinan public service broadcaster. In 2007, some of his photos illustrated the book “Tiempos de rebelión: Que se vayan todos. Calles y plazas en la Argentina 2001-2002″, published by the Group for the Study of Social Movements in Latin America. In 2009, he founded his own production company, EónFrame, which provides filmmaking, post post production services, and audiovisual rental for production agencies and companies. Since 2010, he is an active member of the Association of Argentinian Documentary Makers DOCA.
